Volunteer
You could volunteer and help to raise the profile on numeracy. There are a schemes where you can speak in schools about the importance of maths to everyday life and work such as Inspiring The Future and Number Partners. There are other non-maths specific volunteering opportunities such as WEA volunteers and Volunteering Matters.
